Children's ministry: Highly Recommended
For healing from a break-up or finding yourself, I could not more highly recommend serving. It was great to give of myself and to witness the passion for life that children have. (More on that that another time.)
Wear a dress: Recommended
I could let you think that I wore a dress on purpose...But for church, none of my dark jeans were clean...Which caused quite a predicament for my microphone pack for children's ministry...Anyways!
Trot around your dorm room in leggings: Highly Recommended
I felt comfortable, attractive and ridiculous.
Struggles
I saw him for the first time since the break-up. I was waiting in my Bible study class room and talking and smiling with a friend. He was walking down the hallway to the sanctuary. A mutual friend was standing beside me and shouted to him, so he looked in the room. He quickly looked away, and kept walking. He was wearing my favorite sweater of his, not that he knows.
We had agreed that it wouldn't be weird between us. Perhaps I must wait for it not to be weird? I feel a little irritated.
